Plantain Fry


The benefits of eating Plantain:
Plantains are a type of banana that contain less sugar than the common yellow
banana. They are prepared similarly to vegetables being either fried or cooked. They
are not suitable for eating raw unless they are very ripe. Plantains are low in sodium
and high in vitamin A, potassium, and fiber. They contain similar nutritional content as
bananas.

Ingredients:
- 2 Plantains
- 1 onion
- Seasoning ingredients
- Salt
- Chilli powder
- Coriander powder
- Salt to taste
Preparation:


1) Heat oil in pan .

2) Add cumin seeds, musturd seeds, channa dal, urad dal curry leaves .

3) Add turmeric, onions and fry till onions become transperent .

4) Add plantains which are cut in to round pieces like chips to it fry till golden colour .

5) Finally add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garlic and fry for some more time .

Plantain fry is now ready to eat.....
