Methi Chiken fry..




Ingredients:
Chicken 250 gm
Chopped Onions - 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1-2 tsp
Red chilly powder 1-2 tsp
Turmeric powder, a pinch
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Methi leaves - 1 cup(chopped)
Salt to taste
Curry leaves 2 sprigs
Slit green chilies 3-4
Oil 1½ -2 cups


Method:
1.Clean and wash the chicken.
2. Next add all the ingredients from ginger garlic paste, Red chilly powder,Turmeric powder, Coriander powder to the chicken pieces and toss thoroughly. Keep aside for about two hours, preferably refrigerate if possible.
4. Heat the oil in a pan for frying and fry the onions. Add some ginger garlic paste,green chilies, chopped methi leaves and fry for some time.
5. Add chicken pieces and fry till they are evenly cooked and evenly browned.


Methi chicken fry is ready to serve....

Ingredients:
. Strawberry - 10 pieces
. Sugar - 4 tbsp
. Water - 2 glasses
. Lemon juice - 2 tbsp

Method:
Blend strawberries with  water ,sugar and lemon juice until smooth.

Pongal...My 100th Post!!!!

Ingredients:
. Rice - 1 cup
. Split Moong Dal - 1/2 cup
. Water - 5 cups
. Black Peppercorns(crushed) - 1 tbsp
. Curry Leaves -1 sprig
. Grated ginger - 1 tbsp
. Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tbsp
. Jeera seeds - 1/2 tbsp
. Red chilies - 3 no's
. Turmeric Powder- 1/4 tbsp
. Oil
. Salt to taste


Method:
1) Add moong dal with rice and add 5 cups of water to it in a pressure cooker and cook till 4 whistles.
2) Heat oil in a small pan.Add Black peppercorns(crushed),ginger, cumin seeds, jeera seeds, red chilies, turmeric powder and curry leaves. fry till you get nice aroma from it.
3) Pour it on the cooked rice along with salt and mix well.


Serve hot with pappula podi(gun powder or Spicy Roasted Chickpea Powder) and pachi pulusu(Raw rasam).
