Lacha Paratha or Layered Paratha..

Ingredients:
. Wheat flour 1 cup
. Maida or all pourpose flour : 1/2 cup
. oil 1 tblsp
. Salt 1/2 tsp
. Water for needing the dough



Method:
1)Mix wheat and all purpose flour,salt and oil well and then add water enough to make a smooth dough.
2)Divide into equal balls. Roll into big circle. Then spread oil evenly on the top using your hands.
3)Sprinkle flour on top of it and again spread evenly and start making fleets as shown in the figure.Now hold it on both ends and drag it to form a lonf fleet.
4)After fully done, twist and roll to make a flat round(as shown in the figure). 
5)Again roll in to big circle and Repeat step 2 to 4.Rest it for about 1/2 hr.
6)Now Roll carefully to from circle, without applying too much pressure to ensure the layers are still there. Heat tawa and drizzle oil and cook in medium flame both sides until golden brown. Use the spatula and gently press while cooking to ensure even cooking.
7)Pat gently the sides of the paratha with kitchen towel to highlight the layers. 


Lacha Paratha or Layered paratha is ready to serve..

Eggless Banana Muffins...


Ingredients:
Banana-150gm(puree)
All Purpose Flour-150gm
Butter-40gm
Sugar-75gm
Baking Powder-1 tsp
Baking Soda-1tsp
Vanilla Essence-1tsp
Milk-1/8cup

Method: 
1) Make a paste of the small banana.
2) Mix sugar to the banana puree.Mix milk and make a smooth paste.
3) Now mix baking soda, baking powder,  vanilla essence and mix well.
4) Add flour to the mixture and mix well.
5) Preheat oven to 200C. 
6) Grease the muffins tray with butter and then with some flour.
7) Pour the batter in the trays and bake them in the oven for about 20 mins.
8) Cool it for some time before serving.

Yummy yummy Banana Muffins are ready to serve..

Moong Dal Halwa..




Ingredients
. 1 cup - Split (Yellow) Moong dal
. 1/2 cup Ghee
. 3/4 cups Sugar
. 1/2 cup Milk
. 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Method
1) Dry roast the moong dal till aromatic and lightly golden and then soak it in water for about 5 hrs and grind to a paste.
2) Take a Non stick pan. Heat 1/4 cups of ghee and add the dal paste and stir continuously.
3) Keep the heat at the lowest and keep stirring for every 5 mins till dhal becomes thick.Add the rest of the ghee and cook the dhal until aromatic and the ghee starts oozing out.
4) Meanwhile mix the sugar with milk and cardamom powder in a pan and bring to a boil.Add this slowly to the cooking dhal.
5) Keep the heat low at all times and break lumps if formed while adding the sugar and water/ milk mix.
6) Cook until the ghee surfaces and halwah gets a shiny creamy texture.

It took 2 hrs of time just for stirring...but at last delicious super yummy sweet is ready to serve...

Vegetable Pizza




Ingredients:
. Plain Flour - 1 cups
. Dry Yeast - 1/2 tbsp
. Sugar - 1/4 tbsp
. Salt - 1/4 tbsp
. Warm milk - 3/4 cup
. Cheese grated 1/2 - 1 cup
. Vegetables of your choice for topping( Red, green bell peppers, onions etc)
. Pizza sauce 1 tbsp
. Oregano seasonings
. Chilli flakes 
. 2 tbsp oil

Method
Dough:
1. Warm the milk and add yeast and set aside until frothy.. Mix sugar and add this to flour.
2.Add warm milk and oil to the flour mixture and mix until it forms a large soft dough.
3.Knead the dough for five minutes.Cover the dough with a clean dishcloth, and let it rest for 1 to 2 hrs.

Pizza:
1. Roll out the dough (or flatten with hands) in the size of thin crust pizza.
2. Take a flat bottom nonstick pan and grease with some oil.
3. Place the rolled out pizza base on the pan.
4. Apply pizza sauce.
5. Put some grated cheese.
6. Add vegetables.
7. Spread on the grated cheese on top.
8. Pre-heat oven to 180C.
9. Now bake for about 20 minutes or till edges turn out golden colour.
10. Sprinkle some chilli flakes & oregano seasonings before serving.

Super Yummy Pizza is ready to serve..
